Elite Trend & Momentum Signals
May 2, 2026

The Elite Trend & Momentum Signals indicator is an advanced multi-confirmation trading system designed to analyze market trend, momentum, and strength before generating actionable entry signals. It utilizes a confluence-based approach, ensuring that signals are only produced when price action, volatility filters, and momentum oscillators align simultaneously.
Usage
The Elite Trend & Momentum Signals tool serves as a comprehensive visual framework for identifying high-probability market entries. By default, the system requires price to be positioned relative to the EMA 200 to establish a long-term bias, while an ATR-based trailing stop defines the immediate trend direction.
- Trend Following: Traders can look for "BUY" labels when the price is above the white EMA 200 and the neon trend cloud turns cyan. Conversely, "SELL" labels appearing below the EMA 200 with a magenta cloud indicate bearish setups.
- Momentum Confirmation: The built-in Pulse Oscillator pane highlights the strength of a move. Darker colors represent weakening momentum, while bright neon colors signify accelerating pressure.
- Multi-Timeframe Analysis: By enabling the MTF feature, users can filter lower-timeframe signals based on higher-timeframe structures (e.g., using 1-hour trend data on a 5-minute chart), reducing noise and aligning with the broader market flow.
Details
The script is built as a layered decision engine. It fundamentally relies on an ATR-based trailing logic that adapts to market volatility, ensuring that trend thresholds are not fixed but dynamic.
The confluence chain follows this hierarchy:
- Market Direction: Established by the EMA 200 and ATR trailing stop.
- Trend Strength: Measured via the ADX to ensure the market is not ranging.
- Momentum Validation: Verified through an RSI filter and the custom Pulse Oscillator.
- Participation: Confirmed via a volume threshold filter.
- Execution Stability: Managed through "Anti-Repaint" candle-close logic and a signal cooldown system to prevent overtrading.
Settings
Core Signal Strategy
- Enable Multi-Timeframe: Toggles the use of data from a different timeframe for trend confirmation.
- Select Timeframe: Defines the specific timeframe used for MTF analysis.
- Signal Sensitivity: Adjusts the responsiveness of the signal logic; lower values increase signal frequency, while higher values prioritize stronger trends.
- ATR Smoothing: Controls the period for ATR calculation, affecting how tightly the trailing stop follows the price.
Signal Confirmation Filters
- Trend Strength Filter (ADX): When enabled, signals only appear if the ADX value is above the specified threshold.
- Volume Confirmation: Filters signals that lack supportive market participation.
- Momentum Filter (RSI): Ensures signals align with RSI-based buying (above 50) or selling (below 50) pressure.
- Fast Trend Filter (EMA 50): Adds a secondary EMA layer to refine entries within the main trend.
- Signal Cooldown (Bars): Sets a minimum number of bars that must pass before another signal can be generated.
Aesthetic & Execution
- Wait for Candle Close (Anti-Repaint): Ensures signals are only displayed after a bar closes to prevent real-time fluctuation.
- Performance Mode: Disables the HUD, Power Meter, and complex visual elements to increase script execution speed.
- Neon Trend Cloud: Toggles the visual cloud representating bullish or bearish volatility ranges.
FAQ
How do I interpret the Pulse Oscillator? The oscillator represents short-term momentum acceleration. Bars above zero indicate bullish pressure, while bars below zero indicate bearish pressure. Bright colors suggest the momentum is increasing in that direction.
Why did a signal appear and then disappear? If "Wait for Candle Close" is disabled, signals may fluctuate in real-time. If using MTF mode, signals may adjust until the higher-timeframe candle is fully completed. Enabling "Wait for Candle Close" will lock signals once the current bar is finished.
How do I get access to Elite Trend & Momentum Signals? You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
