RSI 美國線 (RSI Bar, RSIB)
Oct 21, 2019

The RSI 美國線 (RSI Bar, RSIB) indicator visualizes the Relative Strength Index (RSI) using a bar chart (OHLC) format to provide a more detailed perspective on momentum fluctuations.
Usage
The Usage of the RSIB indicator follows traditional RSI principles but adds a visual dimension through the use of price bars within the oscillator pane.
- Overbought/Oversold: Use the standard 70 and 30 levels to identify potential reversal points.
- Trend Direction: The color-coded bars help identify bullish or bearish momentum shifts based on the source price changes.
- Volatility Bands: The indicator includes an "Inner Band" feature which can be set to dynamic (based on Standard Deviation or Smoothed Moving Average) or fixed. These bands help traders identify periods of equilibrium or excessive volatility within the RSI calculation.
- Bar Interpretation: Unlike a standard line RSI, the bar format allows users to see the "spread" of momentum between the current and previous states, similar to how an American Bar chart represents price action.
Details
The script calculates the RSI based on the user-selected source and length. The "RSI Bar" (RSIB) construction uses the previous RSI value as the Open/Low and the current RSI value as the High/Close, effectively mapping price action logic onto the momentum oscillator.
The implementation includes a normalization toggle and a flexible "Inner Band" system. The dynamic inner band uses either the standard deviation of RSI changes or a smoothed average of RSI changes, allowing for a volatility-adjusted look at the median 50-level.
