Multi Time Frame RSI Panel
Oct 5, 2023

The Multi Time Frame RSI Panel indicator allows traders to monitor the Relative Strength Index (RSI) across ten different timeframes simultaneously from a single chart. This tool provides a consolidated view of momentum dynamics, helping users identify overbought or oversold conditions across multiple intervals to confirm market trends or potential reversals.
Usage
The Multi Time Frame RSI Panel is primarily used to gauge confluence between various timeframes. For example, a trader might look for a scenario where both the 15m and 1h RSI values are in oversold territory to find high-probability entry points.
The indicator features a visual table located at the top right of the chart. Each enabled timeframe displays its current RSI value:
- Overbought: If the RSI value exceeds its specific upper threshold, the cell is highlighted in green.
- Oversold: If the RSI value falls below its specific lower threshold, the cell is highlighted in red.
- Neutral: If the RSI value is within the thresholds, the cell remains neutral.
Traders can utilize the built-in alerts to receive notifications when any specific timeframe crosses its defined threshold, ensuring they do not miss critical momentum shifts.
Details
The script utilizes the request.security() function to fetch RSI data from different timeframes (1m to 1M). The core RSI calculation is based on a standard user-defined period (defaulting to 14). By aggregating this data into a table object, the indicator provides a clean UI that doesn't clutter the main price action area while still delivering comprehensive momentum data.
