cd_free_QT_Cx
Jun 10, 2026

The cd_free_QT_Cx indicator provides a multi-layered time and market structure analysis framework designed for traders using Smart Money Concepts (SMC), Quarterly Theory (QT), and Inner Circle Trader (ICT) methodologies. It integrates institutional time cycles, Smart Market Divergences (SMT), and asset correlations into a single interface to help track institutional order flow.
Usage
The indicator tracks market movements by dividing price action into specific time-based cycles. It can be used to identify institutional accumulation, manipulation, and distribution phases across various timeframes.
Time Cycle Models
Users can choose between three distinct cycle theories:
- Daye's Theory: Generates automated Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly, Daily, 90m, Micro, and Mini Cycles.
- Zeussy's Theory: Focuses on specific institutional intervals including Daily (270m), 90m, 30m, and 10m cycles.
- Free Model: Allows for complete customization of start times, timezones, and division coefficients to fit bespoke trading strategies.
Divergence and Correlation (SMT)
The tool analyzes market correlations (triads) in the background. It automatically plots High Timeframe SMT (HTF SMT) and Cyclic SMT (SSMT) lines. By selecting specific asset groups (e.g., EURUSD, GBPUSD, and DXY), the indicator identifies when one asset fails to make a higher high or lower low relative to its correlated counterparts, signaling potential reversals.
Confirmation and Execution
To minimize false signals, the script utilizes a CISD (Change In Status of Delivery) mechanism. This acts as a final confirmation stage, changing color to indicate Bullish or Bearish transitions only after specific institutional triggers—such as Liquidity Sweeps or FVG taps—have occurred.
Details
The indicator operates on the principle that price action is cyclical and governed by time. It constructs institutional candles on lower timeframes, allowing users to see higher timeframe (HTF) open, high, low, and close data directly on their current chart.
Key technical components include:
- Cycle Sweeps: Detection of liquidity raids at cycle extremes.
- Fair Value Gaps (FVG): Identification of institutional imbalances between cycles.
- PSP (Price State Placement): Tracking correlation breakups between assets.
- Bias Panel: A real-time dashboard located on the chart that calculates current institutional market direction based on aligned higher cycles.
Settings
General Settings
- Selection Model for Daily Cycle: Chooses between Daye's, Zeussy's, or Free models.
- Use to determine bias: Selects whether the bias panel uses the first upper cycle or an aligned cycle.
Free Model Settings
- Timezone: Adjusts the indicator’s internal clock to match specific sessions (e.g., GMT-4 for New York).
- Duration of Daily Cycle: Defines the length of the primary cycle in minutes.
- Division Coefficient (X): Determines how many sub-cycles the main period is divided into.
Display & Color Settings
- Sweep/FVG/BSL/SSL: Toggles the visibility of liquidity sweeps, fair value gaps, and buy-side/sell-side liquidity levels.
- HTF Cycle Candles: Enables the projection of higher timeframe candle structures onto the current chart.
- Bias Table Position: Adjusts the location and size of the real-time direction panel.
Triad Settings
- Symbols: Defines the three assets used for correlation and SMT analysis.
- Inverse: Inverts the calculation for assets like DXY that are negatively correlated with pairs like EURUSD.
- B-ADJ: A toggle for contract adjustments specifically for futures traders.
FAQ
How does the alert system work? The indicator uses a dual-confirmation logic. Alerts are not triggered by a single event but require an institutional trigger (like a Sweep or SMT) followed immediately by a CISD (Change In Status of Delivery) confirmation.
Can I use this for any asset class? Yes, while the defaults are set for Forex and Indices, the "Free Model" and "Triad" settings allow you to input any ticker symbols, including Crypto and Commodities.
How do I access the cd_free_QT_Cx indicator? You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
