Checklist Signals
Jun 16, 2022

The Checklist Signals indicator provides a comprehensive dashboard of over 10 essential technical analysis tools organized into a clean, label-based interface. It aims to deliver critical market data—including momentum, trend stacking, and volatility levels—without cluttering the price chart, allowing traders to maintain a "checklist" of conditions for trade entries and exits.
Usage
The indicator organizes information into six rows of labels positioned at the top of the chart. Each label provides real-time data from various technical indicators:
- Row 1 (Trend & Squeeze): Displays ADX and DMI values. Labels highlight when a trend is confirmed (ADX > 20) or when DI+ / DI- are dominant. It also features a Squeeze indicator showing the state (High/Mid/Low compression) and a bar counter for build-up or release.
- Row 2 (Momentum): Displays Fibonacci-based EMA stacking (8, 21, 34, 55, 89, 233). It identifies if the market is in a "Stacked Bull" or "Stacked Bear" configuration. This row also includes Bollinger Band % (BB%), RSI, and Stochastic values.
- Row 3 (Key Levels): Provides the value of the "Mean" (default 21 EMA), the numerical value of one ATR for trade planning, the VIX value, and Ballista oscillator signals.
- Row 4-6 (Volatility Bands): Displays standard deviation levels for ATR and VWAP (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly).
Details
The script uses an ATR-based positioning system to ensure labels hover above the highest price point within a user-defined lookback period. The "Trending" feature applies a moving average to the internal indicator values (like RSI or ADX) to show directional arrows within the labels, indicating if that specific metric is currently increasing or decreasing. The Squeeze logic compares Bollinger Bands to Keltner Channels to identify volatility compression, while the Ballista section tracks momentum inversions.

FAQ
How do I access Checklist Signals?
You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
Why are my labels overlapping?
Overlap typically occurs on different timeframes due to price volatility. Adjust the "X Axis Starting Point" or the "Horizontal/Vertical Label Spread" in the settings to resolve this.
What does "Stacked -1" mean in the EMA label?
This indicates that the Fibonacci EMAs are mostly aligned in a trend, but one moving average is out of sequence, suggesting a potential weakening or transition in the trend.
