The Trade Execution Desk tool is a comprehensive trade planning and session management suite designed to translate market signals into structured risk-managed executions. It integrates position sizing based on account limits, automated pivot-based stop detection, and session performance tracking to ensure consistency for discretionary and futures traders.

Usage

The Usage section describes how the script can be used to manage risk and visualize trade setups. Traders utilize the tool by first configuring their account parameters and then selecting a risk tier. Once a trade direction is determined, the script calculates entry, stop, and profit targets automatically.

Risk-Based Position Sizing

Position sizing is dynamically calculated using the daily loss limit, a maximum risk percentage, and the selected risk tier. The script outputs the number of contracts allowed based on the physical distance between the entry price and the stop loss.

Risk Tier Management

Traders can toggle between FULL, HALF, and QUARTER tiers.

  • FULL: Uses the total calculated risk amount.
  • HALF: Reduces the position size by 50%.
  • QUARTER: Reduces the position size by 75%. This allows for manual adjustment based on setup confidence or current account drawdown.

Visual Trade Planning

The tool plots a visual "Trade Block" on the chart, consisting of:

  • Entry Line: Plotted at the current market price.
  • Stop Line: Plotted at a manual price or an automatically detected pivot level.
  • Take Profit Levels: Three TP levels (TP1, TP2, TP3) calculated via risk-to-reward multiples.
  • Zones: A translucent red "Risk Zone" and a green "Reward Zone" provide immediate visual feedback on the trade's profile.

Session and Log Management

A 10-trade manual log allows users to input results (in points, ticks, currency, or percent). The script aggregates this data to track session P&L and win rates. If daily targets are hit or loss limits are exceeded, a visual "Session Lockout" overlay appears on the chart to signal the end of the trading day.

Details

The script is built to bridge the gap between technical signals and execution logic. It does not generate buy or sell alerts; instead, it provides the structural framework required to execute a trade responsibly.

The Auto Pivot Stop Detection utilizes confirmed pivot points (Pivot High/Low) with a user-defined lookback period. This ensures that stop placement is anchored to verifiable market structure. For short trades, it identifies the nearest confirmed pivot high; for long trades, it identifies the nearest pivot low.

The Session Logic uses sequential chaining for the trade log. Each entry updates a running total of the session's health, checking against the "Promotion Threshold" to determine if the trader has met the criteria to move to a higher risk tier.

FAQ

How does the script calculate contract sizes? The script uses the formula: Risk Amount / (Stop Distance in Ticks * Tick Value). The Risk Amount is derived from your Daily Loss Limit multiplied by your Max Risk % and Tier Multiplier.

Does this script automatically execute trades through my broker? No, this is a planning and visualization tool. It provides the data and visual levels needed to enter orders manually, but it does not send orders to a broker or block order placement.
