Golden Pocket Reduxe
May 5, 2026

The Golden Pocket Reduxe indicator provides an automated framework for identifying Fibonacci Golden Pocket retracement zones and Supply/Demand order blocks across multiple timeframes. By combining these two institutional methodologies, the tool highlights high-probability confluence zones where price is most likely to react, minimizing chart clutter through intelligent multi-timeframe overlays.
Usage
The Usage section describes how the script can be used, particularly in identifying areas of interest (AOIs) where Fibonacci levels align with market structure. Users can monitor up to five different Golden Pocket (GP) setups simultaneously—two on the current chart timeframe and three from user-defined higher timeframes.
The indicator is designed to handle various market conditions:
- Trend Pullbacks: Bullish GPs identify support in uptrends, while Bearish GPs identify resistance in downtrends.
- Confluence Detection: The script automatically highlights "GP + GP" or "GP + S/D" overlaps, signaling the highest probability reversal zones.
- Order Block Validation: Supply and Demand zones are filtered by Break of Structure (BOS) and high-volume impulses, ensuring only significant institutional levels are displayed.
- Persistent Ranges: Day, Week, and Month GP boxes update dynamically based on the current calendar period's high/low range, providing fixed anchor points for intraday and swing trading.
Details
The script incorporates several advanced logic modules to maintain chart clarity and signal quality:
- Pivot Management: Zones are anchored to specific pivot pairs. When new pivots form, older zones can be "Closed" (archived in a different color) or removed based on price invalidation or a maximum count.
- Dynamic S/D Engine: Order blocks feature a "Shrink on Retest" mechanic, where the zone edge retracts as orders are absorbed. High-volume zones are marked with a ★ and resist invalidation.
- Invalidation Logic: Users can set a consecutive bar count for price closing beyond a zone before it is considered invalidated. A warning color can trigger when a zone is near invalidation.
- Multi-Timeframe Deduplication: If a higher-timeframe overlay matches the current chart's timeframe, the script suppresses redundant zones to prevent "spaghetti" charts.
- Real OHLC Integration: This ensures that on non-standard charts like Heikin Ashi or Renko, calculations are based on actual traded prices rather than modified candle values.
Settings
Chart & Overlay Settings
- Fib Level 1 & 2: Defines the boundaries of the Golden Pocket (default 0.65 and 0.707).
- Chart GP Profile 1/2: Selects the pivot logic (Scalping, Intraday, Swing, or Auto) for the local timeframe.
- Overlay Timeframe 1/2/3: Allows the display of GPs and S/D zones from higher timeframes.
- Use Real OHLC: Forces the script to use actual market price data for pivots and zones.
Supply & Demand (S/D) Settings
- Break of Structure Filter: Only draws zones if the impulsive move breaks a previous high or low.
- Shrink on Retest: Reduces the width of the S/D zone as price tests the level.
- Volume Protection: Boosts opacity and durability of zones formed on high volume.
Persistent & Closed GPs
- Enable Day/Week/Month GP: Toggles fixed-period Fibonacci zones.
- Max Closed GPs: Controls how many historical zones remain on the chart after they are no longer active.
- Invalidate Active GP: Sets the logic (Source and Bar count) for removing a zone once price moves through it.
Visuals & Filtering
- MA Filter: Restricts zone drawing based on a Fast/Slow Moving Average trend or price position.
- Volume Stars: Displays a ★ on levels confirmed by above-average volume.
- Midpoint Line: Toggles a median line within the GP boxes.
FAQ
How do I identify the strongest levels? Look for "Confluence" boxes where multiple Golden Pockets overlap or where a Golden Pocket aligns with a Supply/Demand order block.
Why did a zone disappear? Zones may disappear due to price invalidation (closing beyond the zone for X bars), reaching the maximum "Closed GP" count, or being fully absorbed through retests in the S/D engine.
