Accumulation Map
Oct 30, 2024

The Accumulation Map is a powerful charting tool designed to track trading volume across various price levels over a chosen time frame. By visualizing the correlation between an asset's price and traders' buying or selling actions, it effectively identifies key areas known as accumulation zones. These zones are indicative of critical trading activity, highlighting potential support and resistance levels within the market. Using a heatmap, this indicator offers traders a clear and intuitive visual representation of market sentiment and activity based on volume.
How to Trade the Accumulation Map Trading Indicator?
The Accumulation Map is adept at illustrating the distribution of trading volume across different price levels throughout a specific period. This is achieved by visualizing volume nodes in color gradients, each signifying different levels of accumulation (trading activity) within respective price ranges.
The indicator employs a heatmap to vividly depict accumulation areas on the chart through color gradients. Such visualization is crucial for traders wanting to identify areas of significant interest, as well as potential support and resistance levels in market trends.
There are various options for how accumulation metrics can be visualized on the chart. These include Level Value Ratio, Level Value Proportion, Combined View, or opting for None.
For ease of use, the Color Theme can be customized, allowing traders to switch between different predefined color themes.
