The Big Snapper Alerts R3.0 + Chaiking Volatility condition + TP RSI indicator provides a comprehensive strategy framework by filtering Big Snapper signals with trend and volatility conditions. It aims to identify high-probability entries while managing risk through proportional stop losses and dynamic RSI-based take profits.

Usage

This tool is used to identify trade entries based on the synchronization of price action, trend direction, and volatility expansion.

  • Long Entries: Triggered when a Snapper long signal is generated while the price is above the 55-period Medium Moving Average and the Chaikin Volatility indicates a rise in price momentum compared to the last 10 periods.
  • Short Entries: Triggered under opposite conditions (below the 55 MA with volatility confirmation).
  • Stop Loss: The indicator automatically plots a stop loss level based on recent candle sizes, specifically targeting 70% of the candle range to act as a structural Fibonacci-style exit.
  • Take Profit: Profits are managed dynamically via the RSI. For long positions, the TP triggers when the RSI returns from an overbought state (above 70) and crosses back below the 63.5 level.

Details

The script builds upon the original Big Snapper logic by adding layers of trend and momentum filtering. By integrating Chaikin Volatility, the script ensures that signals are only taken when there is sufficient market participation to sustain a move. The inclusion of an RSI-based exit strategy allows the user to capture the majority of a trend's extension while exiting before a significant reversal occurs. The stop loss calculation uses historical candle volatility to place exits logically below significant price action.

FAQ

How do I use the Chaikin Volatility filter?

The Chaikin Volatility filter is automated within the logic; signals will only appear when volatility is higher than the average of the last 10 periods, ensuring you enter during active market phases.

What determines the Take Profit level?

The Take Profit is dynamic and based on RSI momentum. It looks for the price to become overbought/oversold and then triggers an exit when momentum begins to fade toward the midline.
