Nifty 50 5mint Strategy
Sep 16, 2023

The Nifty 50 5mint Strategy indicator is a breakout-based trading tool designed for capturing momentum within specific market sessions. It combines multi-timeframe price levels, volatility bands, and volume-weighted moving averages to identify entry points and manage risk with dynamic trailing stops.
Usage
The strategy is primarily used to identify high-probability breakouts when price exceeds established high or low watermarks. By integrating Bollinger Bands and a Dema-VWAP filter, the tool aims to reduce false signals during sideways consolidation.
Example usage involves observing the background color: a green background indicates a bullish breakout condition, while a red background signifies a bearish breakdown. Traders can utilize the "Trail Factor" to automate exit logic, allowing the strategy to lock in profits as price trends in their favor.
Details
The script executes based on three primary technical layers:
- Price Breakout: Monitors the highest high and lowest low of a user-defined lookback period.
- Volatility Filter: Uses Bollinger Bands to ensure the breakout occurs with sufficient price expansion.
- Trend Alignment: Employs a 6-period Double Exponential Moving Average (DEMA) relative to the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) to confirm the short-term trend direction.
