Liquidation Levels
Oct 19, 2023

The Liquidation Levels indicator is a powerful tool designed to help traders detect and estimate potential price levels where significant liquidation events might occur. By understanding and analyzing these levels, traders can uncover potential support and resistance areas, identify optimal stop-loss levels, and better grasp market sentiment along with possible zones of price volatility.
How to Trade the Liquidation Levels Trading Indicator?
In the trading world, liquidation refers to the process where a trader’s leveraged positions are forcibly closed due to their margin account failing to support open positions as a result of substantial losses or insufficient margin to meet maintenance requirements. While liquidation events can happen at any time, this script specifically focuses on identifying the most significant ones. When larger trading activity is detected, bubbles will appear on the corresponding price bar. The size of the bubbles indicates the potential significance of the liquidation levels, while the lines attached to the bubbles denote the liquidation zones at that price.
The identification of liquidation levels is based on clusters created by traders who have opened highly leveraged positions either long or short. High leverage is determined at levels such as 100x, 50x, and 25x for both long and short positions. Users have the flexibility to remove or customize these leverage levels according to their trading strategies.
In general, price tends to move towards these zones or clusters of liquidity.
