Prismatic Depth
Jun 2, 2026

The Prismatic Depth indicator scores bullish and bearish market pressure across nine independent analytical dimensions to filter signal noise and identify institutional consensus. It requires a weighted composite score to exceed a configurable threshold alongside alignment from multiple optional trend gates before producing a signal.
Usage
The Usage section describes how to interpret the scoring architecture and the visual trade blocks. This tool is designed to move beyond single-input indicators by requiring a high level of confluence.
- Signal Identification: A signal fires only when the total bull or bear score exceeds the "Min Score to Signal" and maintains a "Min Directional Lead" over the opposing direction. Signals are visually represented on the chart with labels and trade blocks.
- Weighted Scoring: Users can adjust the weight of nine pillars (Structure, Volume, Momentum, Liquidity, Volatility, Session, HTF, and Delta Pressure). If one market property is more relevant to your strategy, increasing its weight will make signals more sensitive to that specific data point.
- Trend Gates: Enable or disable additional filters like the VWMA, Supertrend, or ADX Noise Gate. Enabling all gates results in lower-frequency, higher-conviction signals, while disabling them allows for more frequent entries.
- Trade Management: When a signal is confirmed, the script plots entry, stop-loss, and four take-profit levels. The stop-loss behavior can be switched between Supertrend-based, ATR-capped, fixed percentage, or pivot-based.
Details
The script utilizes a nine-pillar architecture to evaluate the market:
- Structure: Evaluates higher-high/lower-low sequences via pivots.
- Volume & Delta Pressure: Analyzes OBV slope and a composite of volume delta ratio and candle body compression.
- Momentum: A triple-blend of KAMA (Kaufman Adaptive Moving Average), RSI, and Williams Percent Range.
- Liquidity: Detects stop-hunt events (swing-low/high sweeps).
- Volatility: Filters signals based on the ATR-to-SMA(ATR) ratio to avoid over-extended or compressed markets.
- Fractal Efficiency: Measures the directional efficiency of price movement (path length vs. net move).
- HTF Trend: Integrates a non-repainting higher timeframe EMA filter.
The visual output includes an 8-line Hull Moving Average (HMA) gradient ribbon, which reflects momentum intensity by normalizing the ribbon spread against its 200-bar historical average.
Settings
Scoring Engine
- Min Score to Signal: The minimum weighted score required to trigger a signal (Default 70).
- Extreme Score Threshold: Score level for "Elite" tier confluence signals (Default 90).
- Min Directional Lead: The required gap between the dominant and secondary score to ensure conviction.
Pillar Weights
- Individual Weight Sliders: Controls the contribution of Structure, Volume, Momentum, Liquidity, Volatility, Session, HTF, and Delta Pressure to the final 100-point score.
Trend Gates
- VWMA Gate: Toggle and length for volume-weighted moving average price filter.
- Supertrend Gate: Toggle and parameters for Supertrend direction alignment.
- Ribbon Gate: Toggle for HMA ribbon direction alignment.
- ADX Noise Gate: Filters signals when ADX is below the specified value (Default 20).
Trade Levels
- Stop Mode: Selection between Supertrend, ATR Cap, Fixed %, or Pivot-based stop placement.
- TP1–TP4 RR: Configurable Risk-to-Reward multiples for the four take-profit levels.
FAQ
How do I interpret the dashboard? The dashboard displays the current directional score for each of the nine pillars. Rows colored in the bullish theme indicate positive confluence for that specific dimension, while the "Signal" row indicates if the final threshold has been met.
Why are some signals delayed or missing? Signals are gated by "Barstate is confirmed" to prevent repainting. Additionally, pivot-based pillars (Structure and Liquidity) require a lookback offset to confirm highs/lows, which is an inherent part of non-repainting pivot detection.
