Scalping PullBack Tool R1 by JustUncleL
Dec 31, 2016

The Scalping PullBack Tool R1 indicator provides a comprehensive suite of technical overlays designed to identify trend pullbacks and scalping opportunities on lower timeframes like the 1-minute, 5-minute, or 15-minute charts.
Usage
The Usage section describes how the script can be used to analyze market momentum and entry points. The tool is optimized for use with Heikin Ashi candles to smooth price action and clarify trend direction.
Trend Identification
The indicator utilizes a multi-layered EMA ribbon (EMA 89, 200, and 633) to establish the macro trend.
- Bullish Bias: Look for buying opportunities when price is above the PAC and the EMAs are aligned upward.
- Bearish Bias: Look for selling opportunities when price is below the PAC and the EMAs are aligned downward.
Price Action Channel (PAC)
The central component is the 34-period EMA High/Low/Close channel. This acts as a dynamic zone for pullbacks.
- Blue Bars: Price has closed above the PAC, indicating bullish momentum.
- Red Bars: Price has closed below the PAC, indicating bearish momentum.
- Gray Bars: Price is currently consolidating within the channel.
Entry Strategy
Traders typically wait for the price to return to the PAC zone during an established trend. By using the built-in Fractals and HH/LL (Higher High/Lower Low) markers, users can draw mini trendlines. A break of these trendlines in the direction of the macro trend serves as the entry trigger for a scalp (often targeting 10-20 pips).
Details
The tool integrates several classic trading concepts into a single interface:
- EMA Ribbon: Uses industry-standard moving averages (89, 200, 600+) often monitored by institutional players.
- Fractal Logic: Incorporates Bill Williams' fractal logic or regular 5-bar fractal patterns to identify local pivot points.
- HH/LL Discovery: Automatically labels structure breaks to assist in manual trendline drawing and market structure analysis.
- Heikin Ashi Integration: The script can perform its internal calculations based on Heikin Ashi values regardless of the chart type, ensuring the signal logic remains consistent with the intended strategy.
Settings

- Use Heikin Ashi Candles: When checked, the script uses Heikin Ashi price data for all internal calculations.
FAQ
How do I identify a valid pullback? A valid pullback occurs when price moves from a trending state (blue/red bars) back into or toward the PAC (gray bars or center line) and subsequently breaks a minor trendline or structure point in the original direction.
What is the "PAC"? The PAC stands for Price Action Channel. It is a three-line envelope created by exponential moving averages of the highs, lows, and closes of a specific period (default 34).
