The Kernel Select feature is the core of its versatility, offering 17 different kernel types (such as Gaussian, Logistic, and Cosine). Each kernel applies a different weighting scheme to the data, allowing the indicator to adapt to various market conditions. The Bandwidth parameter controls the lookback and smoothness; lower values follow price closely for short-term analysis, while higher values provide a smoother, long-term trend perspective.
The tool also features optional Labels that appear when the market direction switches, serving as visual cues for potential trend exhaustion or entry points.

Kernel regression is a non-parametric technique that makes no prior assumptions about the data's functional form, unlike traditional linear regression. It uses a weighting function (the kernel) to estimate the value of the regression line at any given point based on surrounding data points. This implementation draws from the work of Emanuel Parzen and has been adapted for modern computational trading, providing a robust way to capture complex relationships in financial time series without the lag typical of standard moving averages.

- Repaint: When enabled, the indicator re-estimates based on the most recent data for maximum accuracy. When disabled, it uses a fixed calculation for a steady line.
- Kernel Select: Choose from 17 different kernel types including Triangular, Gaussian, Laplace, and more.
- Bandwidth: A scalar value that controls sensitivity. Lower is more sensitive; higher is smoother.
- Source: Determines the price input for calculations (e.g., Close, HL2).

- Deviation: Adjusts the width of the volatility bands surrounding the regression line.
- Line Style: Sets the appearance of the regression lines (Solid, Dotted, or Dashed).

How do I interpret the different kernels?
Different kernels change how much weight is given to data points relative to their distance from the current point. For example, "Gaussian" provides a bell-curve weighting, while "Triangular" applies a linear decay.
What is the difference between the Repaint and Non-Repaint modes?
The Repaint mode updates the historical line to reflect the best fit for the current data, which is useful for identifying the most accurate current trend. The Non-Repaint mode calculates values bar-by-bar, ensuring that historical signals remain fixed as they appeared at the time.
