The Multi-Timeframe Trend Indicator with Signals tool is a comprehensive technical analysis suite designed to identify trend direction and potential entry/exit points across various timeframes by combining SuperTrend, EMAs, ADX, and RSI.

Usage

The indicator can be used to identify market bias and trade setups through several visual components. Traders can look for "Buy" and "Sell" signals generated by SuperTrend crossovers, which can be further filtered by a customizable EMA to ensure trades align with the long-term trend.

The Trend Ribbon (comprising 8 EMAs) and Trend Cloud (EMA 150/250) provide a visual representation of momentum and long-term support or resistance. For confluence, the built-in Multi-Timeframe Dashboard tracks trend quality across six timeframes (from 5-minute to Daily) using ADX analysis, allowing users to verify if a signal on the current chart is supported by the broader market context.

Details

The script utilizes barstate.isconfirmed to mitigate repainting on signal labels, ensuring they only appear once a candle has closed. The multi-timeframe analysis uses request.security with lookahead protection to provide accurate historical data. The trend strength within the dashboard is calculated using a dynamic ADX threshold, which identifies bullish, bearish, or neutral states based on volatility-adjusted smoothing.

FAQ

How do I access the Multi-Timeframe Trend Indicator with Signals?

You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.

Why do signals sometimes disappear while a candle is forming?

The indicator uses confirmation logic. While a bar is active (unconfirmed), the signal may fluctuate; it only becomes permanent once the candle closes to prevent repainting.

Can this indicator automatically execute trades?

No, the indicator and its risk management features (TP/SL lines) are for visual and educational reference only. All trades must be executed manually by the user.
