Multi-TF Volume Delta & RSI Table
May 12, 2026

The Multi-TF Volume Delta & RSI Table indicator provides a comprehensive dashboard for monitoring market aggression and momentum by calculating volume delta and RSI across multiple user-defined timeframes simultaneously. It allows traders to identify cross-timeframe confluence and directional conviction by visualizing whether buying or selling pressure is aligned on both macro and micro levels.
Usage
The Usage section describes how the script can be used to interpret market order flow and trend strength. The tool is designed to help traders filter out low-conviction setups by requiring agreement across multiple timeframes before a signal is generated.
- Trend Confirmation: Use the dashboard to confirm breakouts. If price breaks a resistance level on the current chart, a high bullish volume delta on higher timeframes (e.g., 240m or Day) validates the strength of the move.
- Divergence Spotting: If price reaches a new high but the volume delta across the table is weakening or turning negative, it may indicate a lack of buyer participation and a potential reversal.
- Confluence Signals: The script plots "BUY" and "SELL" labels on the chart when a user-defined number of timeframes align in their signals, indicating a high-probability trend.
Details
The script computes Volume Delta by analyzing the price action within each bar of the requested timeframe. Buy volume is estimated by the relative position of the close within the high-low range, while sell volume is the remainder.
The indicator uses a "Non-Repainting" logic by pulling data from confirmed, closed candles via the request.security function with lookahead=barmerge.lookahead_off. This ensures that historical signals are accurate and do not change after the fact. The "Overall Signal" is determined by counting how many timeframes meet the "Delta Dominance" threshold and the RSI overbought/oversold criteria.
Settings
Timeframe Selection
- 5 min to Month: Toggle switches to include or exclude specific timeframes from the table and the overall signal calculation.
RSI Settings
- RSI Length: Sets the lookback period for the RSI calculation (default is 14).
- Overbought Level: The threshold above which the RSI is considered overbought.
- Oversold Level: The threshold below which the RSI is considered oversold.
Signal Settings
- Delta Dominance (0-1): The ratio of buy volume to total volume required for a bullish signal. For example, 0.6 means 60% of the volume must be buy-side.
- Min TFs Bullish for BUY: The number of active timeframes that must show a bullish signal to trigger an overall "BUY" label.
- Min TFs Bearish for SELL: The number of active timeframes that must show a bearish signal to trigger an overall "SELL" label.
Table Settings
- Table Position: Adjusts where the dashboard is displayed on the chart.
- Text Size: Controls the scale of the text within the dashboard.

Can I set alerts for when the timeframes align? Yes, the script includes built-in alert conditions for "MTF Strong BUY" and "MTF Strong SELL" which trigger when the minimum number of timeframes specified in the settings align.
