Funding Traders

Funding Traders requires a minimum average trade duration:

• Must exceed 2 minutes
• This prevents excessive scalping and tick scalping

Trades held for less than 2 minutes may be flagged.

Copy trading is permitted on Funding Traders accounts:

• Allowed between FT accounts
• Allowed copying from external sources into one FT account
• Copying from other traders' accounts is NOT allowed

Must comply with trading conditions.

News trading rules vary by account type:

• Evaluation Phase: News trading restrictions apply
• Funded Accounts: No trading 5 minutes before/after medium/high-impact news
• Instant Funding: 5 minutes before/after high-impact news leads to termination

News trading is generally restricted on funded accounts.

Funding Traders offers competitive profit splits:

• Default Profit Split: 80% to traders
• With Add-on: Can be increased to 90% or 100%
• Instant Funding: 90% standard, up to 100% with add-on

Profit split can be increased using add-ons.

The use of Expert Advisors (EAs) is restricted on Funding Traders accounts:

• Only risk management or trade management EAs are allowed
• Other types of EAs may be prohibited

Check your specific account type for EA restrictions.

As a Funding Traders trader, you receive 80% of all profits (up to 90% or 100% with add-on). Payouts are available:

• Standard: Bi-weekly (every 14 days)
• 7-Day Option: Available as an add-on
• First Payout: After 14 days from the first funded trade
• Processing Time: Typically 2-4 business days
• Methods: ACH Bank Transfer, Crypto
• Minimum: $50

Funding Traders has consistency rules:

• Next Gen & Pro Accounts: Biggest trading day profit cannot exceed 25% of total profit
• Instant Funding Accounts: Biggest trading day profit cannot exceed 15% of total profit

This ensures consistent trading performance and prevents over-reliance on single-day profits.

Weekend holding rules vary by account type:

• Instant Funding: Weekend holding is PROHIBITED (must close trades 1 hour before Friday market close)
• Evaluation Accounts: Weekend holding may be allowed
• Funded Accounts: Check your specific account type

Overnight holding is generally permitted on most accounts.

If you violate any of the trading rules (daily loss limit, maximum loss limit, consistency rule, news trading restrictions, prohibited strategies, weekend holding restrictions, or other conditions), your account may be closed or terminated. You can retry the challenge by purchasing a new evaluation.

Funding Traders offers two main programs:

• Rapid Program: Fast path to funding up to $500k capital, single evaluation phase, 10% profit target, 5% trailing drawdown
• Classic Funding Program: 2-step evaluation (10% then 5% profit targets), 10% maximum drawdown
• Instant Funding: No evaluation required, start trading immediately, 6% trailing drawdown, 3% daily drawdown

Each program has different profit targets, drawdown limits, and requirements.
