Switch your charts. Keep your scripts.
Vela is the next-generation charting platform by LuxAlgo. Moving from TradingView takes a watchlist file, a screenshot of your layout and a paste: your Pine Script® runs through PineTS, and orderflow built from real trades is on every plan, Free included.
Free to start. Keep your TradingView account while you settle in.
Four things move. Each takes one step.
Vela takes only what you hand it, and only what you made: your symbols, your layouts, your code, your trades.
Watchlists
In TradingView
Open a list, then Advanced view, then Download list as TXT.
In Vela
Drop the files in. Every list comes across with its sections and order, and each symbol lands on the market it names. Anything Vela doesn’t chart yet is listed, never guessed.
No download option on your plan? Paste the symbols instead.
Layouts
In TradingView
Take a screenshot of your whole layout.
In Vela
Drop it in. Vela reads the labels and opens the same grid, each chart on its symbol and timeframe with the built-in indicators Vela has. For any it doesn’t, paste the code and it goes on that chart. The screenshot is read once and never kept.
Exported chart data works too: Vela reads its header, never the prices.
Pine Script®
In TradingView
Open your script in the Pine Editor, select all and copy.
In Vela
Paste it. PineTS compiles it and it’s on your chart. If it needs a change to run, Quant, our coding agent, makes it and tells you what changed.
Trades
In TradingView
In the Trading panel, use the download button, then Download data.
In Vela
Your paper trading history lands in your journal, trade by trade, ready to review.
Portfolio transactions import the same way, from Portfolios, then Transactions.

Your code, on state-of-the-art charts.
Pine Script® runs on Vela through PineTS, our open-source runtime. Paste a script and it compiles on the spot. When it uses something PineTS doesn’t run yet, Quant, our coding agent, rewrites that part, puts it on your chart and lists every change, so you can read the diff before you trust it.
Read about PineTSOpen-source scripts keep their licence and their author’s credit.
Strategies check against your own Strategy Tester export, trade by trade.
Protected and invite-only scripts stay with their authors, since only they can see the code. The Library’s 800+ tools cover most of what they do, or Quant builds your own version from a description.

Questions
Do I keep my TradingView account?
Yes. Nothing on Vela touches your TradingView account, and you can run both side by side for as long as you like.
Will my scripts work?
Paste one and see. Vela compiles it through PineTS on the spot. If it runs as you wrote it, it’s on your chart. If it uses something PineTS doesn’t run yet, such as a library import, Quant rewrites that part and tells you exactly what changed.
What about protected scripts and drawings?
Protected and invite-only scripts can’t move: only their authors can see the code. Drawings, notes and your active alerts list have no export on TradingView, so they can’t move either. Vela’s 66 drawing tools are ready when you redraw.
What happens to my layout screenshot?
Vela reads it once for its labels: the grid, each chart’s symbol and timeframe, and the indicator names. Then it’s gone. Vela never stores it and takes nothing else from it.
Is it free?
Yes, free to start. Vela, the Library, Quant and orderflow from real trades are all on the Free plan, and Essential and up add more of each.
The easiest charts you’ll ever switch to.
