The LuxAlgo Library

Free with attribution.

The Library is the open encyclopedia of trading & technical analysis. These are its terms, in plain language.

Free for humans and machines

Every concept page, family hub, and written explanation in the Library is free to read, quote, copy, index, embed, and train on — for people, AI assistants, agents, and crawlers alike. The Copy for LLM button, the .md rendition of every concept page, and /llms.txt exist precisely so machines can use this material well.

The one condition: attribution

Credit the LuxAlgo Library. Where the medium allows a link, link to the page you drew from — every markdown rendition carries its source URL in the footer. Where it doesn't, the words “LuxAlgo Library” are enough.

The canonical line, ready to paste:

Source: LuxAlgo Library — luxalgo.com/library/...

Attribution attaches when you reproduce or display Library content. Training and indexing display nothing — for those, just keep source URLs intact in what you store.

Two things you can't do

Don't republish the Library wholesale as a competing catalog, and don't sell access to this content as-is. Everything short of that — commentary, courses, research, apps that cite pages, models trained on it — is what the Library is for.

Code is licensed on its own pages

This license covers the written Library. Indicator and strategy source code carries its own terms, stated wherever code appears. Curated imports keep their original licenses and authors. All indicators published by LuxAlgo are licensed under Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). For clarity: using these indicators to trade your own account is not commercial use under this license — selling them, redistributing them for a fee, or building them into a paid product is.

Beyond this license

For anything past attribution — bulk datasets, embedded products, redistribution, anything unusual — email business@luxalgo.com.

The Library License, v1.0 — August 2026. New versions are never retroactive: material used under an earlier version stays governed by it. This page states usage terms for Library content and does not modify the Terms of Service.
