Supertrend Parameter Sensitivity 3D

The Supertrend Parameter Sensitivity 3D confronts the question of which length and multiplier suit the Supertrend method by computing 100 combinations simultaneously and drawing the outcome as a 3D surface over the chart. Peaks mark settings that scored well on your chosen metric and valleys mark the weak ones, while a dedicated stability layer applies the logic of parameter stability: favor plateaus of consistent results over isolated spikes.

How to Trade the Supertrend Parameter Sensitivity 3D?

  • Read the surface: X and Y span your ATR length and multiplier ranges; Z is the selected metric: Win Rate, Net Profit, Profit Factor, or Reward per Risk Ratio.
  • Hunt plateaus, not peaks: the stability computation averages a 3×3 window across the matrix and penalizes variance, highlighting parameter islands that survive small input changes.
  • Auto Apply Stable Parameters: when enabled, the on-chart Supertrend updates itself to the most stable set found in the current matrix.
  • Dashboard: a distribution chart and heatmap table mark the best, worst, and most stable coordinates for quick scanning.

Supertrend Parameter Sensitivity 3D Settings

  • ATR Length / Multiplier: the baseline Supertrend inputs.
  • Length Start / Length Step / Multiplier Start / Multiplier Step: define the matrix of tested combinations.
  • Metric: the performance criterion that shapes the surface.
  • Auto Apply Stable Parameters: toggles automatic adoption of the most stable settings.
  • X Spacing / Y Spacing / Z Height: scale and orientation of the 3D rendering, alongside surface, wireframe, and stable-area colors.
  • Enable Dashboard / Position / Size: the statistics table and its placement.
