Ultimate AMD Indicator
By LuxAlgoJul 2, 2026
Ultimate AMD Indicator automates the Smart Money read of a trading period, detecting the full accumulation, manipulation, and distribution cycle with state machine logic that follows price from consolidation through the false breakout and into the real move. Fair value gap analysis runs alongside, ATR filtering keeps only significant gaps on screen, and collision detection stops boxes and labels from cluttering.
How to Trade the Ultimate AMD Indicator?
- Accumulation box: price confined within a set percentage range across the lookback. Positions are building, and patience is the position.
- Manipulation phase: the breakout from the box, highlighted as the false move, in the spirit of the Judas swing, that lures traders into a trap before the actual trend begins.
- Distribution phase: price returns through the accumulation range or extends onward as the primary trend takes hold.
- FVGs and IFVGs: fresh gaps mark imbalance between buying and selling pressure; once breached, a gap converts into an inverted gap that often acts as support or resistance, offering potential entry or exit signals.
Alerts can notify you when a new accumulation zone forms and when the manipulation breakout fires, so the cycle can be tracked hands-off.
