Market Maker Models tracks the full market maker model schematic live: original consolidation, displaced leg away stepping through smaller interior consolidations, smart money reversal at the curve extreme, then a return leg consuming those zones as targets. Buy models (MMBM) anchor around a low, sell models (MMSM) around a high, and a dashboard reports the schematic in play and progress through the target ladder.

How to Trade the Market Maker Models?

  • Original Consolidation box: a sideways range of at least 15 bars within 2 ATR; the model activates only when price leaves it with displacement.
  • RD/RA zones: interior consolidations mapped on the leg away become the return-trip ladder, ticked off nearest-first as the return leg consumes them.
  • SMR marker: a confirmed swing swept at the curve extreme followed by displacement back through structure.
  • Completion vs invalidation: re-delivery into the origin completes the read; reclaiming it from the wrong side, or closing back through the sweep extreme, voids it.

Every stage fires its own alert, and the dotted delivery curve traces the path so a half-finished schematic reads at a glance.

Market Maker Models Settings

  • Consolidation Length (default 15): bars a sideways range must span to qualify.
  • Consolidation Width (default 2.0): maximum range height in ATR multiples.
  • Displacement Threshold (default 1.0): minimum candle body in ATR multiples for the leg away and the reversal leg.
  • Swing Length (default 5): bars each side confirming swing points.
  • Minimum Curve Depth (default 1.0): travel beyond the origin, in consolidation heights, before a reversal can count.
  • Volatility Length (default 200): ATR length behind the width and displacement tests.
  • Detect (default Both): restrict tracking to buy or sell models only.
  • Display toggles: Show Dashboard (on), Show Phase Labels (on), Show Delivery Curve (on).

Frequently Asked Questions

How does this relate to Model 2022?

Model 2022 is a tight three-beat entry sequence — raid, shift, gap retrace — while a market maker model is the full round trip such an entry can live inside. One supplies the map, the other the trigger at the curve extreme.

What voids a tracked model?

Before the reversal, a close that retakes the origin range from the wrong side; after it, a close back through the sweep extreme. Both print an Invalidated marker and reset the detector.

Does it need a particular timeframe?

No — nothing in the detection is session-bound, and every threshold is measured against the 200-bar ATR. The schematic scales across timeframes; higher charts simply produce fewer, larger models.
