HTF CISD Projections
By LuxAlgoJul 1, 2026

HTF CISD Projections automates a complete structural setup: it detects a change in the state of delivery (CISD), frames the setup's initial range, and projects up to five multiplier-based levels ahead of it as graded targets. A higher timeframe filter keeps the signals honest (bullish setups appear only when price holds above the 1H and 4H EMAs, bearish only below) and an optional rule treats a change of character against the range as invalidation, so stale projections stop extending.
How to Trade the HTF CISD Projections?
- Trade with the filter: long setups only above the 1H and 4H trend EMAs, shorts only below. The indicator discards the rest, cutting noise in ranging conditions.
- Projection levels as targets: the multiplier lines grade objectives by distance from the initial range, allowing scaled exits instead of one all-or-nothing target.
- Previous 1H and 4H highs/lows: these plotted levels mark liquidity and frequent reaction areas, added confluence when a projection level lands on one.
- Respect invalidation: a close beyond the initial range voids the setup; with the CHoCH option enabled, its levels stop extending automatically.
The script waits for a price-action shift relative to the open before drawing anything, and tracks each run's lines individually so active setups keep their levels accurate as price advances.
HTF CISD Projections Settings
- Bars Threshold: the minimum bars required to form a valid setup range.
- CISD Filter: restricts setups to those printing at the extremes of a recent price range.
- Invalidate CISDs on CHoCH: stops extending levels once price closes outside the original range.
- Enable HTF Trend Filter and Trend EMA Length: toggle the 1H/4H alignment requirement and set its moving average period.
- Level Multipliers: up to five projection levels, each with its own distance multiplier and line style (dotted, dashed, or solid).
- Background Fill and Labels Size: zone fill and label font size.
