Time BasedDashboard

The ICT Killzones indicator highlights key institutional trading sessions and temporal windows such as London and New York Killzones to help traders identify periods of high liquidity and volatility. It provides a comprehensive visual framework for time-based trading strategies by marking session ranges, macroeconomic events, and holiday schedules.

Usage

The Usage section describes how the script can be used to navigate the trading day. Traders can use the highlighted boxes and background colors to identify the Asian Range for initial liquidity sweeps, the Judas Swing time for potential false breakouts, and the London/NY Killzones for primary trend expansion.

  • Session Highlighting: Different colors indicate the London Open, New York Open, and New York Lunch periods.
  • Range Identification: The Asian session is boxed to help traders identify the "initial balance" of the day.
  • Time-Specific Lines: Thin vertical lines can be enabled to mark significant timestamps like 08:30 (News/Opening) and 09:30 (Equities Open) for both London and New York.
  • Institutional Markers: The indicator identifies the NY Day End Rally and the IPDA True Day Close Hour (14:00-15:00 NY).

FAQ

How do I access ICT Killzones?

You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.

Why doesn't the Judas Swing box show a trade?

The Judas Swing setting only highlights the time when the maneuver usually occurs; it does not identify the price action itself. You must manually analyze the chart for liquidity raids during this window.

Does the indicator adjust for Daylight Savings Time?

The script uses session inputs that typically align with exchange time or specific UTC offsets. Users should ensure their chart's timezone matches the desired session logic for the most accurate plotting.
